Overview
At VMAI (operated by MetaMind), we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are available for our subscription plans and credit packages.
All refund requests are subject to the terms described below and in our Terms of Service (Article 5 — Withdrawal and Refunds). In the event of any conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
Subscription Refunds
1. 14-Day Refund Window: For new paid subscriptions (monthly or annual), a full refund is available if requested within 14 days from the subscription start date and the Service has not been used at all (no AI video generation, credit usage, etc.).
2. After Service Use: In accordance with Article 17 of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal is restricted once digital content provision has commenced. Users are notified of this before payment and are deemed to have consented upon payment.
3. Monthly Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Upon cancellation, no refund is provided for the current billing period, and the Service remains accessible until the end of that period.
4. Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Upon cancellation, no refund or pro-rata credit is provided for the remaining period, and the Service remains accessible until the end of the current annual billing period.
5. Automatic Renewal: Users may cancel automatic renewal at any time before the subscription period expires. Upon cancellation, the Service may continue to be used until the current subscription period ends.
6. Service Failures: If the Service cannot be used normally due to reasons attributable to the Company, users may receive a proportional refund or service period extension for the affected period.
Credit Package Refunds
1. Full Refund (Unused): Credit packages may be fully refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been used.
2. Pro-Rata Refund (Partially Used): If credits have been partially used, a pro-rata refund for the unused portion may be requested within 14 days of purchase.
3. After 14 Days: After 14 days or full consumption of credits, refunds are not available except where required by applicable law.
4. 1-Year Validity: Purchased credits are valid for 1 year from purchase date. Unused credits are forfeited upon account termination.
5. Expired Credits: Credits that expire due to passage of time are not eligible for refund.

Processing Time: Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Processing time may take 3–10 business days depending on your financial institution.
Refund Exceptions
Refunds are not available in the following cases:
1. The 14-day refund window has expired and the Service has been used.
2. The user's account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of the Terms of Service.
3. If the Service differs from the advertisement or contract, withdrawal is available within 3 months of receiving the Service or within 30 days of discovering or being able to discover such discrepancy.
EU/EEA and UK Users
By purchasing credits and consenting to immediate provision of digital content, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once the credits are used. This policy does not limit your statutory rights under applicable law, including but not limited to the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
